Fareham

I heard on the radio that Robert Patterson (of Twilight fame) wants the part of Christian Grey in the film. I can't imagine anyone worse than that pasty faced wimp.

My vote goes to Gerard Butler - a PROPER man!

Who do you think would do the role justice?

I've just heard he has to be in his late 20s and a red head ... and not worry about committing career suicide.

"Danny Dyer! "

Should have added - he'd be great for lines such as...

"Right - now bend over and take it you slag" and such equally charming 'mockney' banter!

"its gonna be shite just like the books...so who cares"

Are the books rubbish?

I was on holiday recently and whilst by the pool noticed about 7 out of the ten women who were around were reading or at least had 50 shades of grey in their handbags

The people in the pool were probably not the only ones getting wet that morning lol

with the moon n stars somewhere in gtr manc

I think R Patz may be ok as the mean and moody Christian.

I liked the books and took them as a romance with a touch of kink.

I think Chan (as I call him, Channing Tatum or Tatum Channing the fella from Magic Mike and 21 Jump St.) may be too muscley, not that I'd complain. But maybe the new Superman.

And I think Mila what's her face is too hot for Ana, she needs to be pretty but not stunning.

I'll be going to watch it anyway

Whilst I have little respect for their literary style.... These novels have afforded the author a £12 million pre tax profit, in eight months....

Kudos madam....;-)

They aren't well written and are a modern day Mills and Boon IMHO

While the books were pretty mild and yes boring in parts, I'm hoping visually the film/films will be better x
