i have som files i need to unzip before loading on my phone. i had an 'evaluation' version of winzip but thats run out now.

are here any free programmes i can use?

Depends what phone you have. If its an iPhone there are a couple of apps called Unrar and iZip. If its an android phone then I have no idea in afraid!

You should be able to do it by default.

Right click the file and select "extract"..it will rip it to your desktop.

i'm unzipping them on my laptop then loading them onto an android phone
