Off to see the stones for the 3rd time this year - tonight in Washington DC. Anybody else going?

Southwick

Would love to see them.

I had the choice of seeing the Stones at Candlestick Park or the Oakland Raiders when they'd won their second Superbowl.

I chose the tickets for the Raiders to watch my first NFL game

How was the Hyde park show? The shows I saw were all great. Keith fucked up a bit here and there but it's fucking Keith Richards, he's excused! I'm just happy he was able to stand. I'm winded just watching jagger move around on stage!

The weather was right, a scorcher, the venue was right and so were the people, looking at some of the t shirts ( 94-95 tour)and the age group I would say that there were more than a few people there who had followed them round the world. A few were even at the last Hyde Park gig 44 years ago. A lot of die-hard fans there, was speaking to 2 Italian guys (part of the Italian fan club) who had paid £1000 + for tier 1 tickets... prime view and free bar etc.

I would say for their 50th anniversary tour they gave the people value for money, lots of happy people at the end
