Alternatively - if you dont want to ask YOUR bank.. go to a competitor and ask what you need to know? Another alternative is to contact an IFA - independent financial advisor?

Tried many times. The person I just quoted knows what I am going on about and you don't go into another bank and ask.

Basically if you apply for a new credit card and do a balance transfer. Can you stop the bank transfer from happning? I been told by several people you can, but it takes time.
