one not long taken off from our local airfield..

watched it practising yesterday..

what an awesome sight and sound..

Brighton - even Hove!

Oooooh! Fantastic! The sight and sound make the hairs stand up and gives me goosebumps. I saw a Lancaster fly around Newhaven a few years ago and it was so evocative.

Nothing quite like the sound of a Merlin engine going well. When I was a kid in the south we always waved when a spitfire went over - still do!

The roar of engines that you can almost feel vibrate through you is awesome

Always preferred the BGT to the spitfire any day. Sunbeam alpine was nice too
