Does anyone own a lightbox?

Hiya.

So, I'm getting extremely down with this weather and I can't afford a holiday this year.

I'm spending as much time outside as possible and going for walks but I'm forever getting headaches and feeling tired and the lack of sun and warmth really seems to be affecting my mood. - I don't want to keep paying out for sunbeds and with all this talk about the possibility of no proper summers for the next ten years, just the THOUGHT is putting me in a shit mood.

So I was thinking about investing in a lightbox but my question is: does anybody own one, are they any good/do they make a difference, which brand did you go for and how much did you pay for it?

I bought a light box years ago, not sure if they really help or not. Have you tried taking vitamin d as that helps, have a read up about it. Good luck.

I have one, found it's great in the winter months just 30 mins morning and evening seems to do the trick, honestly not sure if it's in my head or works for real but since getting and using it I have felt a lot better so I'm happy

There's an advertisement in today papers for a lighthouse keeper off the coast of Tasmania - best of both worlds.
