If they felt you were a good match, they wouldn't have blocked you OP.....thats how I look at it these days.

They lively read your message, viewed your profile on ninja mode and didn't feel you matched their preferences.

We have had similar messages and just ignored and deleted only for the same person to message us a few weeks or even months later with the same message, now we just instant block to stop them from being able to message or view us again. Op the user in question probably just uses the same approach so that you can’t send them the same message again by accident.

I’m thinking that blocking is simply a way some manage their inboxes. I’ve sent (as I always do) bespoke messages, often with a face pic and once or twice I’ve been blocked. I guess it is that rather than them taking against my personality they just don’t fancy me. Fair enough.

In some ways I find the other alternatives occasionally infuriating - not read; does one assume that it’s just buried in the inbox, is it OK to try again? Read but not deleted - I assume no interest, although once or twice a message comes back later. Deleted has a great finality about it. I also appreciate a polite not for me/us - although I entirely get that many on here are not gracious in rejection, lol.

It’s a minefield, lol!

A lot of people (myself included) browse profiles in hidden/ninja mode before they even open a message, so she might have had a look and decided that you weren’t for her. A lot of people use the block feature as a filtering tool - try not to take it personally. Also, as others have said, those who send very brief/generic messages often get deleted or blocked as well.
