Secret hideaway in the pennines

Do you consider yourself to be a romantic person, not just what you say, but your actions.

Is it a sign of strength, security and confidence in your self.

Or are you all show and no substance

No, I definitely used to be but I think I used it all up.

I do admire it in others, when it's genuine of course, it's lovely.

Yes, I'm a romantic.

I enjoy it as part of seduction and finds it adds to an erotic encounter. Romance can be an early part of foreplay and the slow building of sexual attraction.

I love romance but not in a performative sense. I don’t want dozens of roses or other grand gestures… people who know me, who really see me… know I’d much rather something personal, small and thoughtful. I’d much rather a favourite bar of chocolate over a grand box, It really is the little things I value rather than big impersonal gifts.

Yes, the windscreen defrosted for you, the cup of coffee in bed in the morning, buying a small gift when you're out because ' I saw this and thought you'd like it'.

I definitely used to be in my younger years, happy in love and it came naturally. Then you get older and more bitter towards the world and tired of people!

I think now I would only be romantic to someone who would appreciate it. Making the effort for someone that just shrugs it off ends up feeling hollow

Sometimes I am romantic. I try to go above and beyond for my partner to make them happy. If it is not appreciated or reciprocated I tend to pull away and resent them. Disrespect and ungratefulness are some things I don't tolerate.

No I’m definitely not romantic in the slightest, don’t think anyone has done anything romantic for me either unless the two times I was engaged counts. Though they weren’t big gestures. I would like to see if I could be turned though, see what it’s like on the warmer side 🤣

I’ll get the oil out and my finest Barry white soundtrack on just for you. I’ll romance you up till you sprout petals

Yes, but I’m a grounded romantic these days.

In my more whimsical romantic days I made a cassette tape of a song summing up my feelings for my then paramour and left it on his pillow to find.

I also used to send soppy cards with love notes to my first ever long term boyfriend and buy him teddy bears etc, just because. He used to save them.

💘

I wish, I love seeing people in love, I saw two lads holding hands in the street today and I felt overjoyed that we are at a place where they can do that.

I’m not a fall in love person, I can never have that, it’s not part of my design, looking back on my life I’ve never been in love, I’ve had strong feelings about not wanting to be alone but it wasn’t love.

So if you love someone, and are lucky enough to have someone who loves you, go hold them, because that’s rarer than you think.

I'm a hopeless romantic through and through. I have to reign it in as we are in a hook up world.

My soft heart is surprisingly strong and I wouldn't be me without it.
