Well that was a rough one, mostly because of the heat!

If anyone else had a bad time recently, why not vent in here, what pissed you off or upset you?

Or if you don’t want to speak about it publicly, my message filters are off for the rest of the day. Come chat to me if you like, I did something similar two weeks ago and it seemed to have a positive response!

My gym routine has fallen off a cliff. I'm loving the weather but at the same time I seem to have lost my motivation to work out.

When you’re in the gum it should have air con blasting at least though! Probably cooler in there than your house… plus how are you going to continue having the physique of peak Spider-Man if you stop going?

Nice thread mate .I've not stopped crying all week over that little baby preston it's really hit me as I'm sure it has the nation.every time I see his beautiful face I just hate what he went through.im from Blackpool and worked at that hospital for 18 years.how did they not report the rats after taking him to hospital 3 times in 4 months.sorry to go on but with having no family or friends I only chat on here.and just needed to talk to someone..hope you all have a lovely weekend xx

Yeh it’s a very grim story and unfortunately everyone seemed to fail at the necessary steps to prevent it.

Much like you when I read a story with as much injustice as that it boils my blood, but there is nothing you or I can do about it now.

You seem more vulnerable and susceptible to terrible stories like that, I would try and avoid daily news like the plague. For as long as it takes.

News only delivers things to garner negative response, because it sells. My personal advice would be to try and steer clear of it all for a while, focus on things that are good in life and reach out when you can

I've experienced this myself earlier in the year and if I'm honest it still plays on my mind.

Had some really shitty news about a very old friend of mine who has been diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer, and was told today there’s nothing they can do as it’s now in her spine.

The second of us girls (who all went to school together and are close still) to be given a terminal diagnosis within a year.

I would genuinely be happy if it was 22 degrees every day for a month. 35 degrees three days in a row is horrendous in a country with no air con anywhere

Just A Stranger In A Strange Land.

My commute to work and back involves a total of 5 1/2 miles so that’s been ‘not so nice’!

Work been busy, pretty stressful, plus with schools shutting we’ve been lite on bodies in the office which has added to the fun.

But, it’s Friday, we’re not in Ukraine or Venezuela so it’s all relative.

Also, it could be raining.

Our boiler packed up two weeks ago . Got a replacement boiler delivered yesterday but they'd only deliver it to our foyer so I had to drag it ( thank fuck we have a lift ) up to my flat on the second floor

Had a rough week.

The office i work in is a metal container, started work at 7pm the temperature in it was 43.1C.

Cooled down a bit when it got dark, but had to close the door n all the windows, thousands of bugs around, still got bit to hell n back.

Thanks! No spa, sadly, just doing nerdy stuff that I never normally get the opportunity to do, cocktails & a 70mm screening of The Odyssey in Leicester Square. I'm missing the Spider-Man premiere by two days though, gutted 😆
