Following on from the 'Sexual Selection' thread, its probably due to the idea that a full, round pair of breasts are capable of making an ample supply of milk, meaning that any babies you have with a busty woman probably won't go hungry - most things we find physically attractive about someone are likely to have their roots in evolutionary benefit.
