It took me right back to 'Jesus, they've fucked up a lot of the timeline and I saw them on The Works tour the year before Live Aid when they were supposed to be split up in the film'!

I couldn't get over how much the film Brian sounded like the real Brian. Apparently when Brian watched it with his kids they asked him who was playing him. He told them. Then they said "But you're doing the voice, aren't you?" Even his children couldn't tell the difference.

Brilliant film despite some of the inaccuracies of the timeline etc.

Mike Myers playing the Record company boss and commenting about nobody is going to bang there head to it, makes me laugh every time (Wayne’s World reference)

Theres a YouTube video of the scene at Live Aid and the one in the film running side by side. Its uncanny how alike they are. Rami Malik was amazing in this film. One of my favourites that I never tire of watching x

For me, inaccuracies is not just of the timeline of the person and the focus took it from being a great film to an average film. I think they played far too safe and missed a massive opportunity ( brilliant director, brilliant actor, one of the greatest rock stories) to do something fantastic. Most of the press and critics and people close to him slammed this film as an inaccurate mess , I think they were harsh but they made some good points especially how they sanitised his sexuality and focused instead on his platonic relationship with an ex.
