"The only time I've seen Lobo was from the Justice League series in the early 2000's, if Jason Momoa is a fraction of that character then I'll give it a watch." Same. I don't know much else about him. I'm more excited about the DCU than the MCU.

"Geeks and Sham I'm guessing you never read the comics? I just think he looks badass. I think they cast well looks wise with Jason mamoa." No, I didn't buy comics as a youngster. I grew up on TV shows instead. X-Men, Spider-Man, Batman, Justice League, Teen Titans etc. Mamoa certainly looks the part. I guess they'll have to find a new Aquaman. I actually liked the films.

"Just seen Jason Mamoa looking hotter than Hell as Lobo on the new supergirl billboards. IMO Lobo deserves to have a film in his own right, hopefully this will be the platform to launch that - and if Zob Zombie directed it... ..... I might just explode. Any Lobo fans or fans of the Alt comic stylings post apocalypse mutoid imagery? Feel free to share. " Lobo is a brilliant character! Definitely could have a film of his own! Mamoa definitely suits the look. Think he’ll be good playing the character too. Hoping it’s a good script though.

"I became a fan of the Main Main 1990,when he appeared in his own four-issue miniseries, Lobo: The Last Czarnian, plotted by Giffen, written by Alan Grant and with art by Simon Bisley, I have most of the early mini series and one shots, such as one with Judge Dredd. The point of Lobo was that he was an amusing exaggerated parody of a certain kind of superhero, with exaggerated psychotic violence and swagger. For me these were the best stories, but I gave up on reading about him when the violence and swagger became the focus. That being said, I think Jason Momoa is the person to play him and would understand that the character is about fun and not just body count. I am looking forward to the Supergirl film. I just need to read the graphic novel that it's based on." Wow, you managed to hang onto your comics. Bisley's Lobo was definitely the best. Definitely some great comic/ graphic novels from that era.

"Only have them for a short while. I am giving my comics away to a friend, as I have not looked at many for over 20 years and I need the space. So the original runs of The Boys, Preacher, Fables, Love and Rockets, 20 years of 2000AD and Crossed are going. I won't open the boxes as I make cry. However, I am keeping all TPB collections. That's very generous of you. Best to keep the box closed so you don't start reclaiming them lol
