"I haven't met this guy in person yet, so I can't say how we'll get on in person ( we're meeting next week ) but there is someone I've really clicked with via messages more than I have with anyone else on Fab and I've been on and off here since 2017. We chat about anything and everything, and unlike most on Fab they don't make me feel rubbish for reacting to things a certain way. I think they're hot, so I hope they are sexually attracted to me in person, but even if the sexual side doesn't happen I think we'll be friends. They're non pushy, which is difficult to find on Fab, especially with a younger guy. They're nearly a decade younger than me but seem wise for their age and have been a big support to me. Simply put friends drove for hours just in support & I'll never be able to thank them enough..." I'm so sorry for your loss, but I'm glad you had a good support network. We have had many good times in bed and have had a kind of friendship but sadly that’s gone now. The guy drinks too much and gets nasty if he has seen me online and I don’t reply INSTANTLY to a message. Despite the fact he normally starts sending messages about 8PM and know I start work driving a lorry at 5PM. I think he is a bit lonely but hey ho | |||

The attention though was directed towards my friends, all the top forumites were so instrumental in me surveying. I felt like they were all affected as for 8 or 9 months we battled his addictions, depression and numerous attempts. I keep 2 pics of him on my profile and they're the ones of him on his blue bike, they were taken 2 weeks before his passing. They're there because he teased me that if he had a profile his pics would get more fabs than mine, hes probably right too... | |||

"We’ve been very fortunate to meet a man on here who has become a true friend (we have lots of mates, only a small number of close friends). I arranged to meet him when he was working in our home town to show him around, Pie came along only because there was a drink involved, and here we are nearly two years later. Where I come from, when you use the word “friend” it is because you have a deep connection with them and are part of your life. So, my fab “friends”/acquaintances stay in the Fab world. The two who have made the crossover to my everyday life/world and I to theirs, we just say with one, we met at a night out in London and the other one at the airport while working. People don’t need to know any more. I have had the good fortune of being (excitedly) introduced to one of my friends’ very wide circle of friends and it was an absolute privilege and honour. If you want the earth to swallow you up when you’re in their company and you bump into a “real” friend, then they are not your friends at all. Keep it to the be_room only. 🤷♀️ I am always extremely proud to be in the company of my friends. 🩷🎀 | |||

I have both lifestyle and vanilla acquaintances that would probably never be introduced to each other. I also have some amazing friends that I would have no issue introducing to each other. Most of my closest vanilla friends know about my lifestyle choices anyway. | |||
