Cortisone Injections

Has anyone ever had one before? If so how long did you rest after having it.

I had one sometime ago in hospital to help a knee problem.

From memory it was done and i was free to go home.

I'm having mine in my hip and I've been told I can't drive afterwards

Had one for frozen shoulder.

Gave it to me and sent me home.

Carried on just as normal.

I had mine in my shoulder and was told to rest for 48 hours, I didn't completely rest my shoulder and the injection didn't work! Second time around I did as I was told and and rested my shoulder and have been pain free for about 12 months

You should try under the kneecap then

Mine didnt work i was told three months and it lasted about 2.5 weeks no more.

I feel your pain.

I think the thing with the heel is the amount of force the doctor needed to exert in order to get through the tough skin on the bottom of the foot was what made it worse. Added to that I was kneeling on a chair facing away from him as he was forcing the needle in. Not sure if that was good or bad but I usually prefer to see what is going on.
