Generalising here, but only talking about majorities, so don't shoot me down as it's not a hard and fast rule.

Over 60's - More prefer hairy blokes. Think the 70s chest "love rug".

36 or so - 60 More prefer smooth lads, except possibly a short beard or stubble.

Under 35 - More prefer hairy blokes. All over body, including pubes.

But facially sometimes torn between huge beard and the clean shaven with a tache and a mullet.

If someone has a thing for hair down there I won't be for them as I never let my hair get past stubble, and I keep it as neat as possible for meets. If I had the money I'd go for laser hair removal.
