There are unscrupulous people about when it comes to HMOs. Some are claiming to be running them as charities for the homeless but are basically running HMOs. I know of one that is under investigation and of another where a fairly well-known ex-footballer was fronting one via his foundation. He dropped it as soon as it was uncovered and had seemingly got away with it. God knows what's happened to the homeless people he was supposed to be supporting.

It's not always the fault of the estate agent.

How is the advertising not the fault of the estate agent? They make the listing

Housing industry is in shambles. Has been for decades according to some people older than I am. I've only known it to be a complete mess.
