...the amount of Forum posts by men that the (male) OP only ever replies to women and couples?

I notice this often.

Is this some weird form of online honey trap?

Yeah, I notice.

Basically, it's strategy. "This is a sex site, I want sex with women, therefore all others are superfluous to my requirements". It's really glaringly obvious once you see it. I find it quite gauche. Conversation can certainly lead to sex, but I'd never consider someone who is so obviously single-minded.

Twas ever thus. Some posters do it more than others.

I rarely start threads. When I do, I'll reply to any post I have anything to say in response, M of F. But won't reply to everyone - no time for that.

There's also a bit of self fulfilling prophecy too, if men only post posts aimed to women or couples, or where responses are gendered (the would you the above posts particularly)

It's all a bit skewed from that perspective

I got booted from a kik group once because the group owner decided I only responded to the women, he was right, the guys were boring bastards that only wanted to get their dicks wet but had no chat *shrug*

Yeah. And they reply to comments that say the same thing over and over again.

I understand the forum can be a great place to start conversations, but at least act a little interested in what others have to say too.

"All the time. They worry about the ghey

What do you mean?

It means that most men are reluctant to swipe right or comment on another man's post in case it renders them immutably gay.

Wait, so men think that speaking to other men makes them appear gay?

How on earth do they conduct their everyday lives?

On a hair trigger of losing their shit. Especially now we're a lot less tolerant of violence as a response to someone being gay in your vicinity.

I was in the chat rooms, someone actually typed out a death threat to me in the chat. No one batted an eyelid.

Jesus fuck.

I remember when I was a young adult, it was really hard to push back on the idea "that's a gay and he looked at me appreciatively, I should defend my honour with my fists, right?"

Things were supposed to get better 🤷‍♀️

I once had a bottle of Budweiser smashed across my face for "lookin at my bird" in a pub. I got a dead hard scar out of it.

Men are dicks.

Jesus. They could’ve killed you.

It went off like a Wild West saloon brawl. Tables and chairs going through the windows, the lot.

Never drink in the Black Swan in Staines.

I have a bottle of pink liquid in the kitchen to remove stains. Probably makes my clothes gay too.

Staines in the 90s was the least gay town I'd ever been to I reckon.

I never went back.

Also, your clothes look epic. Gay or otherwise

"

Thank you dahlink

"Women do it as well. Start a thread, gush over a man writing a crap version of something that a woman has already written.

People do it. Only interact with those they fancy/want to fuck."

What happens to people like me who tend to avoid replying/comment post from people that fancy fearing to look so obvious? That strategy is not working tbh, so I'm going to try this one. Let's check the thread…

I'm not wound up by it. It's merely an observation. I save my being wound up for things like poverty, Reform voters and Donald Trump.

In my twenties I was aggressively accused of looking at someone's girlfriend, well, I say accused, I was guilty as charged but thought I was being subtle. My response was "If you don't want people looking at your girlfriend then go out with an ugly one." He was very confused, she smiled and I walked away.

There was a post about a guy who said he keeps getting ignored on the forums. So I wrote something heartfelt and said keep at it OP.

He ignored me and commented on the woman directly underneath me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh and threads like ToT where you’ve commented and then guys message you privately saying ‘best tits on FAB’ but don’t say it on the thread as then they’ll spoil their chance with the other women 🙄 or probably private message 15 other women on the thread saying the same thing 🤣
