It gets harder and harder to focus on the football when you follow the circus that Newcastle United has become in the last few years......

I hope the fans get behind the team and treat the latest outbreak of boardroom shenanigans with contempt they deserve...

Haha….. yeah I see what you mean….. but in my defence, I’m one of those odd-fellows ( yeah-yeah literally lol ) who happens to support both Sunderland and Newcastle……

So in situations where they play each-other my allegiance is split by wanting Sunderland to win, but only if that wouldn’t stop Newcastle from achieving a result which would help them reach a higher league position than a Sunderland side with no realistic chance of overtaking them, or in the case of the the more likely scenario where either side needs the points for premier league survival ….

If that makes any sense…..

yes I can remember the days, when if Newcastle or Sunderland were playing away fans used to go watch their rivals play rather than travel to away games

Newcastle and Gateshead

I would have a bet with tottenham fans about who would finish higher...

but after 18 years of making it, I have no spurs fans left willing to do it anymore!!
