Something I want to say about this site

West Midlands

I don't very often post too seriously on here. It's normally a lame attempt at humour which usually flies over the heads of most. It is good to have somewhere to discuss adult themes (along with red or brown) mostly without prejudice but...

I've been surprised by some of the downright smut on here and how unashamedly some post it. I'm not criticising the site operators but it seems like the place could do with a Smut Moderator to move it all into a perverts sub-forum.

I get there's a fine line between casual sex chat and unacceptable material but the place is in danger of becoming a breeding ground for suspect filth traders and misogyny.

Just my own light-hearted opinion and not an attack on the site moderation, I've no doubt it's not easy to keep on top of it all. Maybe the posters could help by reporting more often. I did so yesterday and post was removed.

In a galaxy far far away

Yeah I've seen some pretty disturbing posts. It can be hard for the moderators to read everything so they rely on these comments to be reported.

As a general rule I just post random tomfoolery in the lounge, and anything sex related in the swingers section.

Niche

People will have some very niche sexual interests.

My line in the sand is where that crosses over in to areas of health or safety or mental state or obsessive thought or violence toward a person or group or gender.

Some things get deleted that you might argue are fine and some don't get the scrutiny that I would have expected.

But the rules are what they are.

I swerve any forums and threads started by ones I know from experience to be disturbing.

I completely get what your saying , I'm not new to fab but quite new to posting on the forums ,and some of the threads are quite worrying !! But luckily iv noticed they don't get much involvement and people tend to let them know they are welcome posts ,personally I skip past them , but very valid point ,- humor and genuine questions I get , weird shit should have its own place

The swingers forum is usually where the “smut” usually lays heavy, the lounge has pretty much been a casual chat thing. There has been a bit of a cross over lately, but I suspect it is new members finding their feet maybe. If folk don’t interact with threads they don’t like then they would disappear from the main page quite quickly. Also, warmer weather tends to bring out the highly sexed.

funky town

There are some very questionable threads sometimes. I guess sometimes though unless its something illegal or against fab rules there is not a lot the moderators can do.

But yeah i agree that sometimes things are very close to the cusp of being the above

Realistically who decides what is too smutty for this site.

Its everyone's own business what thread they start.

If you dont like the vibe of a thread just move on and stay away from it.

I personally love them because they can be funny and its a view into someone else's take on what this site is about.

In the end this is a swingers site.

So yes people on here have different fetishes and they should be allowed explore them any way they choose.

Peace love and happiness to all.💋💋💋

I feel censoring subjectivities is flirting with bigotry.

It's hard to stomach at times but if it's legal 🤷🏻‍♂️

As long as there is nothing illegal or abusive then most the time i think let it be, one if the problems is that someone can put something as humour but when others read it they take it seriously its hard to get across sometimes that it is not meant to be taken seriously. On the whole the regulars are pretty goid at calling it out if something is dodgy.

I think there's often a tension between "here's a sexual thing I want to talk about" - it can be hard to find people to share niche interests with - and "I want to connect with other people". Some interests or desires will put others off, and it's a balance - both for those posting about their interests, and also those who come seeking connection.
