I had friend from Rassay, visited often... some very glorious sunny days. Walked the Cuillin ridge in sunshine a few years back.

My mother goes up to Skye, Plockton etc every year and usually gets some pretty good weather. Every time I go it's like being in Mordor; dark, wet and miserable.

I am 9 miles from Glasgow, and it looks like rain is not far away today. Very warm, but grey clouds looming. Really annoying when everywhere else is having sunshine.
