Newcastle Under Lyme

As I've no chance of meeting anybody on here for whatever reason, I'm opening forum discussions just for fun.

So what food floats people's boat?

Mine in order of choice.

Chilli con carne.

Mexican

Indian.

I love Italian food

But my measure of every new Italian I visit is how good their carbonara is!

I'm not. Few chefs and bakers in the family so always had good food at home. Didn't realise how high the bar had been set until I tried some of the slop others have and love.

I like most proper dinners. Hate fast food with a passion. I'll try most if not all meals.

Favourite has got to be a carvery. Veg the meats the gravy. Ooo yeah

My taste buds change over time, I'm willing to give good foods another shot.

In the past I couldn't eat olives or Brussels but now love 'em

Sunderland

Homemade savoury rice balls.

In the slow cooker all day with 3 tins of hinze tomato soup and mashed tatey.

Mince meat

Rice

Diced onions

Rolled up into a ball.

Into the slow cooker.

Pour the tomato soup in.

Don't knock it till you try it.

While we are on this subject......

How do you folks do your mash taties.

Obviously the. Normal start with bit milk and bit butter mashed in but I now add mayonnaise in to the mix bloody lovely.

Also again don't knock it to you try it

O have thought about trying out spicyash tatie by adding g pirinasne (if that's how you spell it) the hot 1 but it sure how it will turn out and to waste a full pan of mash hah
