I'm thinking of looking for a short break in July. Probably in the UK and suitable for singles. Any ideas?

In a galaxy far far away

Newcastle is a great night out

Plenty to do in the daytime and is close to the coast if you fancy a day out at the beach.

I’d be interested on some good places to go as a single traveller. I’ve never been away by myself before, all advice welcome!

I think it depends what your preference is. City break or countryside ? Seaside ? Historic buildings ? Theatre ? Etc.

It’s why I love the uk so much plenty of variety wether it’s a city break or the countryside so much to see and do and without all the hassle of foreign lingo and money and of course flying

No. We are talking singles holidays. You're thinking of Bermuda

I have a holiday booked near Skegness in July, only for 5 days, but I'm looking forward to getting away.

I've just booked a solo trip to London - it's easy to navigate once you get your bearings with the tube & there's so many things to do.

For a less chaotic break, which may or may not be the case depending on the dates you're looking at, North Devon or the Lake District are worthy options.
