Dont you just love time wasters, litrally been chatting to someone for weeks, exchanged face pics etc and only just now they have decided to tell me that dad bods dont do it for them and they then block.

What is the actual point. My username states this so why chat in the first place?

I'm not sure that's a time waster, that's just annoying. (Maybe very annoying)

Conversation is just part of the deal. They might have thought you were an interesting enough prospect to overcome something they're usually not attracted to, and decided it wasn't the case.

To me, a time waster would be someone who arranged a time to meet and didn't show up.

I know it’s frustrating but any one (male or female) can say no to a social, meet or sex, at any point. Even after the clothes have come off.

Why is it time wasting when you're just getting to know someone.

Every conversation doesn't have to lead to sex.

It's a pathetic phrase people use to make themselves feel better when the other person had just lost interest in them, which they are allowed to do!

Yeah i get that not every conversation leads to sex, we had already had a social and we had booked a hotel for tomorrow evening, everything was planned then they message with actually dad bods are not for me

Most people are not mutually compatible with most other people but they typically won't know who is or isn't immediately.

You have to expect that the numbers of initial chatters will decline, as the reality gets revealed. As well as being in contrast with their other options, including doing nothing

I've gotten to the point where anyone who interacts with me via messages or winks or anything is just a time waster. Statistically 100% of interactions initiated by the other have lead to wasted time. They message arrange to meet, i message on the day, they're completely and coincidentally unavailable for days after. Happens every single time

First experience of a time waster this morning. Agreed to go and watch a couple. Sounded all plausible.

I get there and the poor woman who lived there knew nothing about it. Someone deliberately using her address for windups.

Ok it wasted my time- big deal- but doing that to her felt really awful. She’d had 4 knocks already

That happened when I was a newbie to this site, realising soon there are so many married guys lying about their age and freedom, just to try to prove they are still capable of getting a meeting. Fantasying to meet when they just wanted a quick sex chat wank. Some of them texted me again when I opened a new profile explaining they panicked because they didn't look like their photos at all, and they want to save me from the disappointment
