In a galaxy far far away

I used to have the neighbours from hell living above me. They had laminated flooring with 3 young kids constantly running and jumping about till 2, 3 in the morning.

Constant parties and loud music. I had to sleep with ear plugs.

I move a year and a half ago and it's now absolute bliss, I don't hear a peep from my neighbours. It's done my mental health wonders.

What are your neighbours like, do you get on with them?

I live in an old farm cottage mukes from anyone , but have got some noisy pheasants near by. And have to hide from the farmer at times , he's a twat for asking for help when he's busy and sees my cars at home

I love them to hit so quiet and respectful. We get on well. They don’t have people around at all but I wish they made a bit more noise at night if you know what I mean. 😂

I used to have one of those when I lived in a 4 in a block. He was an alcoholic and would throw a one man party every night. He took an instant dislike to me and would let himself into my house when my husband was at work and hurl abuse at me until I pushed him down the steps at my front door.

Like you, I'm so glad I don't live there anymore. My neighbour on one side is deaf and doesn't bother anyone. The other is a single mum of similar age. She's nice. We take each other's parcels, take turns cutting the front grass we share and we're always happy to help her out with any DIY bits.

My neighbour to my left is an absolute twat. Threatened me on my motorbike & damaged my car once.

Neighbour to my right though, chill as anything. Great laugh.

I moved into a rental about 6 months ago, while I sort my house out.

But the walls are paper thin. I can hear the neighbours conversations lol.

One of the first Sunday's here, I could hear the gent next door fucking his Mrs for about half hour. Never heard her cum though lol.

Since then, I bet I'm the neighbour from hell as everytime my Mrs comes round we fuck for about an hour.

And even though we're not that loud, I just know they can hear everything clear we day, especially the Mrs cumming.

It used to worry about it and put the music on loud, but now I just think fuck it.

Nightmare neighbours are hell. I suffered with mine for 5 years before my landlord had a spare property for me to move to. I don't know how I managed.

It's good you have nice neighbours now as well.

We live in a mid-terrace and fortunately both sides are wonderful neighbours and people. We've never been happier! 6 years here now with no intention of moving again.

Mine are great. The one I'm joined to, his old man used to live on the same street as mine. The ones in front of me, their daughter used to babysit me, the one's on my other side, I went to school with.

Thinking on, I've been in pretty much every house on my street and whenever someone new moves in, I pop round with a welcome card that everyone has signed

My neighbour downstairs has music loud and screams at all hours, mainly on a weekend. I have to laugh at his screams otherwise I'd get too stressed out over the music.

The neighbour to my right does the same but less often and usually not as long. To my left are much quieter sometimes I'll hear a bang out something like dropped something. Never heard anything from above.

I really need to move as I am constantly extremely tired and have a lot of brain fog and that. Trying to use the noise as a motivator to better my income but too exhausted to think of any way of doing so

I have a feral child living next door to me. Completely smashed the fence with his constant ball kicking. Then he throws things at my window. The mother is ok and tries to stop him but when she is at work her mum watches them and she has no control.

Other side are a couple in their 60/70s and are great.

Opposite me to the left a total prick that once cut his hedge and put it into my bin. When it wasn’t emptied and I queried it they said contamination. It wasn’t as if I was t going to know it was him filling the bin at night. I emptied the whole contents on his doorstep. Never made eye contact since.

Opposite is a family of Indians. The mum is quite sexy in a funny way but probably because I’ve seen her in her undies at 2AM. My kitchen fronts into the street and when I finish work I make a coffee and daydream out of the window. Their light came on and she walked out with a bucket to tip down the drain in her bra and knickers…. Yea I dunno either. They’re great though they do their thing and I do mine.

Next to them is a young couple 20/30 that have just moved in. Again they seem ok.

Further on down the street I might nod if I see them but don’t chit chat as I’m not into gossip.

He sounds like a real charmer! I do hope that pushing down the stairs led to something else, no-one has the right to enter your property, for what sounds like the sole purpose of scaring you, and does not deserve everything that comes your way.

Must admit that my neighbours are great, even the one that's just a little bit nosey.
