My mum has had both knee replacements, and it has improved over time. But make sure you do the physio exercises as much as you can. She admitted after the second one that she didn’t do enough for the first one, and regrets it

My brother said the same. Two operations on the same knee because he didn't do the rehab properly the first time. Get well soon OP. 👍🏾😊

I had a much more minor operation (ankle) with a 3-6 month rehabilitation period. (Longer, but I was under NHS care for six months)

I found the hardest parts were the first couple of weeks, because I was in a lot of pain and surprisingly helpless. And then week ten was depressing - I'd made a lot of progress but it suddenly felt like I'd never get completely better.

Take each day as it comes, set up systems that mitigate your (temporary) disabilities, and don't overdo it in the early days of recovery.

Yes I will amazing how many bad days there are. Getting ready frustrated.
