Do you have a phobia of an animal?

Just wondering as there's a thread called what are you afraid of? And I noticed so many said spiders. To me spiders are great. I have had tarantulas crawling on my hands and up my arms, those were the size of my hands. Gentle giants in my eyes but I get why people are scared. Though they're amazing creatures to me. At least.

For me I have a phobia of wasps. I've tried getting over it but I just can't. It is weird because I am not scared of many things. Snakes, spiders, rats etc but wasps are just a no no.

I intensely dislike cockroaches. Where I grew up, they'd be all over the kitchen in summer - and you have to know that I'm talking about 5cm long, yellow and black fuckers that flew.

Eeeeeek! 😱

Can't say I've got a problem with being eaten... under the right circumstances. 🤪

I helped sedate a 15 foot Nile Crocodile in South Africa. Took 10 of us to lift him and carry to the clinic. They injected him and then we had to carry him back to the water. Where he woke up and went back in the water. He was hugeeee.

I’m afraid of cows

It’s not a phobia, which is an irrational fear.

It’s learned behaviour, from seeing my dad getting trampled (he’s alright now, but a few broken bones at the time)

I've walked on paths and in fields many times with my dog and had to turn back. As there were a group of cows. And they were with their young. I thought best to turn back in case they get aggressive.

I'm not a fan of any creepy crawlies to be honest, especially the ones with wings!

My daughter has a love for all the insects. When she runs towards me with a closed hand I bolt in the opposite direction because there could be anything in there. I hate it 😭

Erik hates moths, always has. He knows they can't hurt him, but he feels targeted by them and takes it as a personal threat of violence when one enters his safe space. 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm alright with everything!

They can be very protective. Its always best to leave them be. Dont do what I do and get stunk in a cattlerun full of them.

For me its cats. Its not a fear, I just dont trust them, proper shifty little fuckers that just randomly get claws out if hiding and lash at you.

"Snakes, can't even watch them on TV"

When I was younger I had a friend who had snakes, as well as other animals.

On the day of his sisters wedding he was feeding his rats, then he went to feed the pithon. The snake got the scent of the rats and latched onto his hand and started working it's way up his arm.

We had to use screwdrivers to open its mouth to get his hand out

I used to be like that when I was a child. Now I'm a big brave man who dares to go into the reptile house at the zoo, but is constantly looking around in case anythings escaped.

I am scared of most creepy crawlies tbh 😖

I am absolutely fine with dogs I know and grew up with dogs and cats at my parents house, but I am always wary of strangers dogs, particularly ones that are very barky and aggressive.

I am also obviously scared of all the apex predator/wild animals which I think is pretty much just common sense 😂

If spiders and snakes disappeares tomorrow it would lead to an ecological disaster. It's just unfortunate that spiders aren't cute like red pandas.
