Pain after sex

So yesterday I had an amazing time with my friend with benefits but today my lady parts are really sore.

Other than warm baths and paracetamol what is something I can do to relive it. I think it's just I was well stretched and I'm not complaining because I did have fun just ouch today

If you're worried about uti's wash out a bit with a teaspoon of bi carb in half a litre ratio.

If its just muscle tearing, coconut oil, with a drop of lavendar rubbed around inside will speed up healing.

Wouldn't hurt to have extra garlic and ginger in your diet for a day or two either to cut down on inflammation.

And do six sets of wimhof breathing, with or without the cold shower part.

When I feel like that after sex I make sure I moisturise the skin well with a unscented moisturiser designed for intimate use. The skin is usually a bit damaged and needs time to heal so just needs taking care of and hydration helps.

YES is a great natural and organic vaginal moisturising gel that's NHS recommended.

I would not recommend putting coconut oil or scented oils near the entrance/inside your vagina as they can disrupt your natural Ph balance and irritate your sensitive skin in that area or even cause thrush by throwing your balance off.

Do a handstand and squeeze in a tube of savlon and tube of aloe vera.

If I get a little sore I use a little vaginal moisturiser after a shower or bath. However I’m now using oestrogen and my menopause nurse assures me this will help prevent it happening.

Pop to your nurse or pharmacist to rule out anything unpleasant like BV or thrush…. And they can also hook you up with the correct treatment for the soreness while you heal.

Please don’t put things like coconut oil etc in your vagina. While it can be lovely and moisturising on the mons after shaving it shouldn’t be going anywhere internally or even on the sensitive labia tissue.

Don't use coconut oil or Vaseline in the vagina.

Best thing is to leave the vagina to recover in its own time.

Next time you have sex it might be worth looking at better quality lube or use more of it to prevent it from happening in the first place.
