Exactly as it says. When you leave in the morning or wake up at home and you just think.

That was a good club!

For us I think it’s the owners.

Clean, welcoming and inclusive hosts, a variety of different types of spaces (social and play), something different in terms of facilities. I am a sucker for a decent hot tub too.

I think hosts are vital. Don’t want to feel like just another couple when you’ve maybe travelled to go to a club. Cleanliness yeah that’s another for us too. I can cope with a little bit neglected because i imagine it must be hard to keep on top of all night, but if there are wipes and things there so I can give a quick clean then I’m happy.

For me a good club is one that has a lot of people who I consider attractive that want to take me to a private room and fuck me. They must also make the first move. That's a good club.

But that can change night to night.

Why should they make the first move?

Clean, inclusive depends on what I want that night I guess.

I like clubs that don't feel clique. I like wet clubs over clubs that feel like dance clubs.

The dynamics of the event.

The hardcore events aren't for us....we prefer the couple / single ladies events.

The club scene is of more interest to my partner though. They often hurt my eyes.

Yeah great points. Sometimes it can be off putting with the wanking dead.

Any night I go to a club I want attractive people there that fancy me.

They should make the first move to show they really want me.

I like the Attic, because the staff there are great. Them being welcoming and inclusive help to make it a great place to visit.

For me its the atmosphere. Does it feel 'sexy' does it make me feel good?

Sadly many of the clubs I've visited just don't feel that way.

Some have been utterly grim.

The people in it.

It doesnt have to be the poshest or smartest club, just people care about it.

The owners and staff need to be enjoying their roles and strictbwith whatever rules they have so that people who attend know what is and isnt permitted.

A friendly welcoming crowd. I've been in clubs where everyone is a couple and very few chat to each other just standing around "peacocking".

Not my idea of a good club, enclusive, friendly, good music, good dancefloor, good and clean, lockable and open play areas.

couple, us we him her.

A club that doesn't feel like the owners are only trying to milk every penny from paying customers, cold and unwelcoming, unwelcoming and rules that are never enforced allowing bad behaviour, over drinking and let anyone in as long as they cough up enough money.

A club should be a place where people (mainly ladies) feel safe and can enjoy an evening without being harassed or followed everywhere, wr go to these places and let down our guard carring out intimate and explicit acts you want to know there's support and safety.

The only place we have been that we ha e felt that it was safe and well policed is BGHS.

Also a decent club should be atmospheric and erotic, so many UK clubs can't seem to get that right most feel seedy and grubby frequented by dodgy guys in flasher jackets and just an extension of the local sex shop.

Clean, modern facilities and a variety of areas, welcoming hosts, friendly and inclusive people attending, good music but not so loud you can't have a conversation, don't allow people to get so pissed they behave inappropriately, not too expensive, vet the people attending on the guest list and take their details/ID. It makes me feel much safer.

I also prefer either dress down right away or by a certain time. My pet peev is people sat around fully dressed at 1am when everyone else is in underwear. Feels awkward.

I also agree with others, some clubs I've been to feel grubby and grim instead of sexy and erotic. The atmosphere is important. I don't want to feel like I'm sat in a working mens club from the 80s.

I still laugh about people sitting and eating a Sunday roast in a certain club while people were fucking all around them

I agree with most of that apart from the last bit, people should feel as comfortable as possible and not forced by forcing people to undress they may not attend in the first place.

It took us a few visits before we felt comfortable enough to be more risqué.

If a club is large enough to have a separate social area and the non social area have folk in various states of undress then it shouldn't allow people, and when I say "people" I mean single men, to wander around outside of that social area clothed.

Staff, cleanliness, decent vetting of attendees (to stop the guys who think it’s fine to grab and touch without permission or any interaction.)

The one thing that we find disappointing in most clubs is that the play rooms are usually very dark, we love to see the action properly so would be great if clubs had more lit rooms as well as the darker ones.

I think vetting is a tough one because people’s first time will always be hindered. If they have been a pest before then fair enough.

I like clubs that sort of self police too and people that look out for each other making everyone feel welcome.

I think as a minimum, clubs should require ID upon entry. I have been to clubs where the only thing they take is your fab username for the guestlist and your entry fee.

Having a scheme where clubs communicate with eachother and put people on a ban list when they have behaved inappropriately at one club, so they can't just go and do the same at another, would be really helpful and go towards making people feel safe. I know a couple of clubs do some of these things but it definitely isn't across the board.

A dressdown club that is not body beautiful where all shapes, sizes and ages are truly welcome.

Clean and well maintained

Helpful staff that patroller the areas making sure it's super clean on a regular basis.

NO music, NO porn playing, you can have a conversation.

Yes! That’s a great idea. It’s a shame if one club doesn’t like a person they could ban them from everywhere but I get what you mean.

Good owners who know how to create the right vibe, have a good mix of people and don’t allow guys following you and wanking.

The two clubs which have nailed it every time we’ve been is The Mirage and VA…

I think it will and always will be the people. Go on a night where people are chatty and the vibe is good, great club. Go on a night where people are stand-offish, cliquey and won't say two words to you, shit club.
