On occasion, I do. Like if they're really stunning I wonder what they see in me that they may not in other guys and it can be a bit of a head fuck wondering how to not mess it up.

But I'm trying to be better at just enjoying things as they come and not question it too much and see the more positive traits that are desirable to women.

I spent a whole lifetime overthinking why people liked me. To the extent it ruined my relationships.

I've learned from that, and from having spent so much time on my own that people who actively seek to spend time with you are few and far between, and I realised that those are people to celebrate and enjoy being with - for however long it lasts. Until such time they give you a reason to question why they want to be in your company, I now go with the flow and enjoy every moment.

Living in the moment, and not overthinking things, is absolutely the way to go

All the time. I don’t understand it at all. I feel incredibly lucky with the people I’ve met at the club and even with my partner I feel lucky.

I’m learning to embrace it more and just go with the “they can always say no” attitude. But I do still wonder a lot of the time. Why?

Yes and no, my self esteem is all wrapped up in my perception of being desirable. If I'm being desired I can feel incredible/sexy/body doubts melt away, on the other hand if I'm going through a period of not noticing being desired then all of the doubts and overthinking rear there ugly heads. It's one of the problems I suffered with when your partner goes off sex/physical intimacy with you (actually it's the physical intimacy that has the most effect, occasional touches/cuddles/proper kisses - not the goodnight peck/gentle caresses)

I am often astounded by some of the ladies that find me attractive. It is proof that the whole "out of my league" thing is all in my head.

I'm no oil painting, I see myself every morning looking like crap in the mirror, I dont kid myself but whether it is a physical attraction, a mental attraction or they just like my dark morbid, daft sense of humour or a combination or all, who knows.
