I have just finished the first book of “The Slow Horses “ series by Mick Herron

Absolutely excellent

If you are a fan of Le Carre … ( obviously “The Karla” trilogy, probably the best series of books ever! …. Ok Lord if the Rings has a shout on that if you are a younger person )

Any way … if you love Le Carre, you will love these

I'm currently reading not quite dead yet, Holly Jackson.

I love books 📚 as you can see on one of my pics.

My fav writers include Marian keyes, kl slater, Rachel Abbott and I like some of Dean koontz books too.Plus the bob books.

I'm not sure I could just pick one book 🙊. I did really enjoy the silent patient though & didn't expect to. I was hesitant to read it as it has mixed reviews.. Sorry I've waffled on a bit.

Absolutely nothing wrong with waffling on … people who love books, love books and hearing other book lovers talking about what gets their juices flowing ( that expression is probably totally inappropriate, sorry ) opens new doors to explore and discover .

We are all just seeing the light provided by a match and we stand in a huge dark cave !

My favourite author is Irvine Welsh.

I love the kind of behind the scenes anecdotal tales ( as I assume John Cleese’s book is … forgive me if I have jumped to a conclusion there. )

I would recommend David Nivens’ books “The Moon’s A Balloon “ and “Bring on The Empty Horses” both brilliant tales from his times in Hollywood

I read a lot I've always got books on order from the library..at the moment I'm re..reading..a few kind words and a loaded gun....Noel razor smith.. which is a good book obviously cos I'm reading it again...if you're looking for a light-hearted cheerful read avoid.. though there are some humorous moments.especially his first armed robbery on a record shop....a life of crime..long stints in jail.. brutality.. it's a book you won't want to put down ..

Last book that I really enjoyed recently was one I stumbled across in the charity book pile in Tescos

Marching Powder by Rusty Young

I picked it up thinking it might be something to do with that Danny Dyer movie, turned out to be a

real life account of a young Englishman banged up in a notorious Bolivian jail for drug smuggling. Truly amazing story.

I’m on book 15, 16 & 17 of the year. I mix between real paper books, audio and kindle. All different genres including non fiction.

One of my favourite books is Stasiland by Anna Funder.

Love this series, im on book 6 now! One of the earlier ones I found hard going but the rest are fab.

I tend to read LitRPG exclusively with a smattering of fantasy smut.

Morning Glory Milking Farm was definitely better than I expected lol

Just finished

"The house across the lake"

By Riley Sager

A dark psychological suspense . After suffering tragedy a woman moved to her family's lake house and she becomes obsessed with the big house across the lake and the seemingly perfect couple that live there.

A really good read with a couple of very gasping twists towards the end.

Can't wait to read more of his books.

I'd also recommend anything by Ragnar Johnasson it's proper Scandinavian Noir
