Tonight i watched a programme about the way the elderly are treated and got all upset........

Then i watched all about the young girl from zimbabwe whose face was over taken by a huge tumour, she never moaned about her lot at all and went through so much. It was humbling to watch her struggle.

I much prefer to watch something like that despite the reaction it gets than all this "reality crap" re big piggin brother and towie. yuck yuck.

I watched Rick Stein's India tonight.

I now officially know where I'm headed for my next Holiday.

Been wondering for week's where to go.

Looks great!

I agree. I'd much rather watch something about real life and whats happening around us. It puts life into perspective. Channel 4 are very good for interesting documentaries.

I find personally that this holds true with films to, if it's based on a real event it is generally more interesting.

There is a lot of throw away tv nowadays, on the bright side though at least we'll probably never have to watch repeats of big brother

Stuff like that really gets to me and I can't watch it. Although if its a charity program and they show before/after the money is given. I can watch bits of it as its a pleasant thing to see. Seeing how much money gets thrown at talentless contestants makes me mad alone.

When I see how much the actual presenters and panel make just for that show alone it makes me sick. I mean Simon cowell has made his money just by saying your good/rubbish. He doesn't right the songs or teach people to sing and he's the most talented one out of every judge he's ever worked with. Looking at it from a business point a view as within 15 years. He's gone from your average earner to having a major say in the music industry. More or less in charge of itv and has earned well over £200 million in the meantime and that's not including his assets.

That program aside you have got high maintenance cry babies who have had all sorts of good things thrown of them, broken the law and yet they earn a fortune because of that on other reality tv shows due to interviews, magazine shoots, etc.

It makes me sick knowing that I work hard and I struggle to have a life and yet you have people like that. So it makes me feel even worse knowing there are disabled people and Ill people out there

Also they think donating a measly £100 grand when they earn billions a year is going to make up for it Bring back proper tv I say.
