"Afternoon you sweet sweet soles. Having a bad anxiety day today, been doing really well controlling it recently. Just listening to wolf and owl podcast laughing away taking my mind off of it. What are your techniques to cope with anxiety. Big up Wolf and Owl" Difficult to come down from a anxious event, but I find grounding myself helps. If you can find a grassy spot away from all the noise. Take shoes and socks off. Feel the earth under your feet close your eyes and breath and just concentrate on your own breathing hand on tummy feeling the inhale and exhale. Or if you have the ability find somewhere to dangle feet in water and just feel free and at one with nature. Failing that take yourself out of the stressful environment for a few mins go for a walk. | |||

"I'm not sure what triggers your anxiety, OP. But mine is health related. When I start to feel it creeping in i try to slow my breathing down and do an overall check in my head. Telling myself that I've felt all of these feelings before and been fine which usually helps. " I get this just struggle telling myself to calm down then the brain kicks in and runs away!!! Been coping really well recently just hit with a bad day today. Thanks for advice and tips everyone, nice to know not the only one going through it even if feels like some times. Much love | |||

Much love" It really isn't easy and doesn't work all the time. There are lots of videos on YouTube that talk about coping strategies, you should check them out. It's simply trying to distract your mind from those thoughts. Easier said than done i know. I genuinely hope you work through it. Anxiety is the devil. | |||
