"What is polyamory?" Being able to love and hold a relationship with more than one person, without jealousy It's totally a valid question!

"What is polyamory? Being able to love and hold a relationship with more than one person, without jealousy It's totally a valid question!" I would respectfully disagree re jealousy - of course poly folks can experience jealousy. What's important in terms of being successful, happy, etc, is how you deal with it.

"More ENM that poly currently but who knows maybe for the right people, had the opportunity to explore it more And what is ENM ?😅" Urban dictionary.. ENM stands for Ethical Non-Monogamy. It is an umbrella term for romantic or sexual relationships that are not exclusive, where all partners agree to, consent to, and are aware of the arrangement, emphasizing honesty and ethical practices over cheating.

Jealousy still happens but poly people tend to be more in time with their emotions and manage it a little better.

"It's only polyamory if all involved are ethically non-monogamous. For example, my fiancé knows I'm poly, it's very much ethical. If I was to date a person who was cheating/their partner was unaware - it wouldn't be polyamory. The ethical part of polyamory is very important. " They'd be a lot less broken Relationships in the world if some people knew how much fun can be had from being honest

Are you saying that folks who aren't poly are somehow less able to deal with emotions and jealousy?

Still takes work, requires a lot of communication. And not all poly relationships are great. People still cheat in them. I'm not too keen on people using the term when the ethical side is overlooked. That's fairly obvious though.

That might still break a relationship

I guess the reality is, every relationship has potential to fail. I just feel being honest about things prior to wandering can save a lot of hurt and be a whole lot more fun

"We’re pretty polly… But seriously yes, we live the poly lifestyle. Question: Does merely having consensual regular sexual relations and dates with specific other people class you poly? Feelings develop but I wouldn’t necessarily class it in the same sense as the love we share in our marriage. " For me the difference is romantic love. I have very close friends where we have sex but the love is platonic.

But we don't have a p. relationship. Love can look/be different. I've never had the exact same love for two people. But if you can love more than one person at a time then it might be.
