It's a sign of getting older when the birthday parties and weddings stop and the funerals begin

I've reached that stage in life - no weddings or Christenings but funeral numbers building up more rapidly. It puts you firmly in touch wiv ye own mortality

It will be 11 years tomorrow since by dad passed away suddenly. Not a day goes by where I don't think of him. Miss him terribly.
