Favourite Star Wars films in order

OK, May the 4th be with you and all that jazz, but let's get straight into it. List your favourite Star Wars films in order. And I said films, so that means films, not TV series. If you want to include them start a different thread (and I'll join it).

Here's mine:

Empire Strikes Back

Rogue One

Return of the Jedi

A New Hope

Revenge of the Sith

The Clone Wars

The Phantom Menace

The Last Jedi

Solo

Attack of the Clones

The Force Awakens

Caravan of Courage

Rise of Skywalker

Battle for Endor

Mine is very similar but I’m putting the Star Wars Holiday Special first 😘🤣

😂 I did ponder is that a film, but settled on it being a TV special.

There’s argument for both but as I watched it on a big screen at a con many years ago I definitely class it as a film

Empire Strikes Back

Return of the Jedi

A New Hope

Revenge of the Sith

Attack of the Clones

Rogue One

The Phantom Menace

The Force Awakens

The Last Jedi

Rise of Skywalker

I haven't seen the others. Essentially it's original trilogy, prequel, then sequel. Rogue One was a heist film which was a bit different. Would be interesting to see a Mandalorian film where he's collecting bounties and fighting Jedis and ends up with a collection of lightsabres.

Star Wars - as it was called when I saw it at the cinema!

Empire strikes back

Return of the jedi

All the rest are just cash grabs not even good stories!

Well that's my opinion anyway

I've seen season one of The Mandalorian. Like someone else said, it definitely seems to be a cash grab. Irrelevant stories or plots that don't make sense. I won't be watching it.

It's all ultimately about making money, and that was the same for the original trilogy but they do seem to have put more thought into the various TV series, so I'm hoping they might have with the new films as well

I can not really put them in order they all have good and bad in them so it all depends on how I'm feeling on the day. What I can say is that I love any thing Starwars the Movies and the TV shows.

The original first (Chapter IV)

Then Empire and Jedi jointly became they are really an inseparable pair.

Then none of the others are really worth watching.

Empire Strikes Back.

A New Hope.

Rogue One.

Return of the Jedi.

The rest suck ass.

Didn't even finish off the latest sequels because that first one was so bad.

Actually I'll edit that and out Rogue One at number 2 and A New Hope at number 3.

I had no idea there had been so many. I loved the first three films but couldn't get into the forth film. I gave up after that. The force had left me. 😢

Empire is my favourite, the original created the spirit, Rogue One was Star Wars as an adult for me and I am one of the few that enjoyed Solo. I think that one got a bit of a rough ride and then Jedi, although the lightsabre battle and the face off with the Emperor was cool and as a scene rates higher up the list.

Of the ones I've watched:

Rogue One

Empire Strikes Back

Return of the Jedi

A New Hope

The Force Awakens

The Last Jedi

The Phantom Menace

Rise of the Skywalker

Solo

Revenge of the Sith

Attack of the Clones

I almost never rewatch the prequel trilogy as I find them so dull. The only good thing about them was Darth Maul, I love seeing the cool as fuck cosplays of him people do as well.

Mix these words up and you could have an awesome title to a new film

I predict it's all to retcon or reboot the original trilogy. Then we'll have a star wars multiverse. Leia becomes the chosen one, Yoda is orange, Jar Jar is a Sith.

Favourite was A New Hope. Broke the VHS tape from overuse. I remember the hype during the special edition cinematic releases, although I wasn't keen on the Windows 95 era CGI or the changed ending music in Return of the Jedi.

The first one, which blew me away when I was 6.

The Empire Strikes Back, similar when I was 9.

Didn’t bother with Return of the Jedi, I’d moved on to music by the time I was 12…

Not watched another one since.
