BRADFORD/LEEDS

So I'm going to a club this Saturday and I'm not sure on what to wear.

I was thinking blue jeans, grey polo and black Chelsea boots.

Thoughts?

the big city

Sounds pretty exact so far, but for me I’d skip the polo and opt for either a fitted white or black shirt nice and tight no hamburger meat on show

That’s a hot look

I'm going shopping today so could be open to suggestions.

I was thinking a shirt and pants would be too dressy

I'd ditch the polo shirt and wear a freshly ironed shirt.

Also not a fan of black shoes with blie jeans, so for me it would be brown shoes.

Enjoy your first club though

Thanks. I've always been bad with dressing. I'm out shopping today. I've got north face shirts but nothing plain. They don't have huge logos on them. Just a little one on the chest

Wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident. The jeans and polo sound good to me

I was also thinking the look I've got in my profile pic too

My logic is always dress to impress.

As above....a nice shirt looks better.

I’d check the club’s dress code to see if there’s an issue with wearing smart jeans or a polo. I’d suggest ditching the polo for a shirt but the jeans may well be ok as long as they’re smart.

The look in your profile pic is spot on. Smart, not too formal.

Always wear what makes you feel good. A nice silky shirt that doesn't need ironing is my favourite (temu) , tight on the arms though. Mixed with a pair of walking or golf style trousers for movement comfort, something you could wear in a workplace. On my feet I wear more causl shoes as not into formal wear at all. Mr

Ditch the shirt, and go for a crisp, white v neck t-shirt.

"Ditch the shirt, and go for a crisp, white v neck t-shirt. "

Some clubs require a collared shirt or polo as a minimum. This is why knowing the dress code is key.

Read their dress code for a start. I've seen a lot of people turned away for not adhering to those.

Otherwise, dress to impress

I was also gonna say you need to check the clubs dress code, some can be quite strict. Polo shirt and jeans might fall foul of some as being too casual.

That's crazy, it reminds me of the 90s when you had to wear a shirt and smart shoes to get into a nightclub.

Yeah it's a bit OTT imo but some of them have ideas of grandeur clubs can vary wildly

It varies really. Women it's easy. Just throw a dress on and you're fine. It's men that get the issues.

They say no trainers... But do Jordans come under trainers? People wear them with suits
