Its D for me. Putting the milk in too early can greatly reduce the strength of the tea due to the change in fluid temperature. Thermal dynamics..... apparently 🤷‍♂️

Warm the pot, add leaves (one teaspoon per person), add fresh water at correct temperature (never above 75C for white tea, for example), leave 3-5 minutes to steep, pour through a silver strainer into the old Sèvres, sip with delight.

I don't add milk or sugar, but I suppose some people like that sort of thing.

Boil the kettle then leave it to cool for a couple of minutes. Pour Into the pot, three minutes brewing time(I’m usually making Assam using leaves not supermarket dust). Into the cup through a strainer. Then a kiss of milk.
