Cumbria

For some people, coriander tastes like soap! It’s linked to a genetic variant in the OR6A2 olfactory receptor gene.

So who here enjoys it and who only tastes soap?!

Seems ok in a mix of spices for me, the leaves though are soap mixed with dirt 🤢

Like me when i thought 70g of dried shitake mushrooms was expensive and 1kg was better value... it came in a bag the size of a pillow case 😅
