So last night I found myself binge watching open house - the great sex experiment. Firstly I want to acknowledge the bravery of going on national television and opening up about their lifestyle. Secondly, the couples featured go there with high hopes of fulfilling their sexual desires and fantasies. It soon came apparent that when faced with reality it became a different story. Seeing another man banging the back out of your wife, reality hit.

So my question to couples on fab is, did you or do you still get jealous watching your wife/husband enjoying sex with someone else?

Set out boundries of what was ok and what wasn’t,what we are comfortable with doin or

Seeing the other person do

We check in and reset or change them if we need to

We are always 100% honest with each other

It wouldn’t work any other way for us

It has really gave our relationship another fun spark

Watched open house a little while ago after joining this scene. I felt like the couples on there were put in some uncomfortable situations just for the show. For example "we don't plan to play seperately" then are put in a situation where they have a night away from each other.

No jealousy from us, communication is key. NGL I was a little nervous about seeing him kiss another woman for the first time but then when it happened found it 🔥 the end of the day- we are each other's forever person, have a family and our whole lives together. The sexual experiences we encounter are just that ♥️

Can understand how couples who come in this for the wrong reasons could face problems 🙃

thank you for being honest. I was first introduced to the lifestyle by an ex girlfriend many years ago and it was an incredible rush. My current girlfriend isn’t keen on the idea so I don’t push it but I miss that thrill of seeing my partner pleasured by another man. Enjoy your day

Agreed and the whole set up on Open House creates a false impression of swinging starting with the surroundings and moving on to the other 'guests'.

When I first began on the scene it was in a relationship where we opened it meeting 1:1 separately. We took felt some discomfort on being confronted with our partner with another real time, even though we consented to the concept of non-monogamy.

Personally I'm glad I found my enm feet on my own, I remember watching open house and resonating with some of the situations that unfolded with that gap between the idea and reality, and the incredible large amount of vulnerability in having sex with someone else after xx amount of monogamous years AND at the same time checking your partner is ok.

I know many couples enter their enm path through swinging, I'm just offering that our path also went fine with clear boundaries and check ins.

I've since had a partner where we've done a couple of swaps, and it's been good fun, but yeah I personally needed the 5yrs of experience and a bit of public play (no outside involvement) in clubs to ladder up to that.
