"The effort of switching is greater than the saving. I do the Same with bike insurance, if there's only twenty quid in it I'll just roll it over Switching is a piece of piss these days" It is but there has been dozens of pop up firms in the 13yrs I've been with EE. that's a lot of pissing around. Until the difference is substantial I'm ok to pay the few quid

"Like? " Tesco, Voxi, 1p, Smarty and others. They usually offer no contract options and can be cheaper. I'm not on the cheapest - I pay £10 a month, 50Gh data, unlimited calls and texts and EU roaming. Where I spend most of my life is in a network black spot, with variable coverage. I use the strongest network, provided by 1 of the virtual networks.

"Poor bandwidth and signal. They promise alot and alway seem to drop below needs. I say this ass someone who has worked in telecom and chatted many times to a returning customer. " Many of the networks have equal access between the virtual and real networks. I've just had c. 300 MBs data speed, which is often much higher and is more than suitable for what I want it for. I've been with my current virtual network for about 18 months, using the same actual network that Id been using around 8-10 years. And network quality has been comparable. But I'm paying 1/4 of what I used to pay and have no obligation to give notice, as it's a rolling monthly payment service.
