Paper Town Central, Essex.

Minimal for me.

I'll either wash it or buy new if necessary whilst I'm away.

Just call me Reacher.

I'm contemplating only three evening outfits for my next holiday or taking things that can double up as evening and day wear, much less jewellery and one belt.

Not sure I understand the concept of packing light.

Far more fun to take half my wardrobe with me, not wear it and add to the washing pile on my return home

We’re inbetweeners.

Use about 14kg of 23kg allowance.

Cabin bag not enough and hold bag too big.

Who decided these sizes.

Also depends where you’re travelling to as in cold or hot climate.

No but I do have my favourite clothes and the. They get worn out faster than the others... And then they make it to the favourite but lounging only group and the others get a chance to catch up!

I always overpack, obsessively so. If it's an extended trip I then pack a huge Portmanteau, Steamer Trunk or even a Wardrobe Trunk and send it off a few weeks in advance via maritime passage.

Minimalist packers, what would you take for 7 nights? Warm days, cooler nights, swimming stuff required and smart dress code for evenings.

I will wear a jacket or wrap to the airport so no need to pack anything like that.

Depends were I’m going, I’ve booked the big nude boat for February 2027 the flights I’ve booked allow 2 23kg bags, I’ve splashed on premium economy was only an extra £400 in total. So you can bet I’ll take something I won’t wear as most of the time I’ll be nude lol

Generally hand luggage unless a week away. Then it's a case between 2. So most of my holidays this Yr will be bag under seat only. Packing cubes help.

If I'm going on a hiking trip I have to carry clothes for all eventualities so I rarely wear it all but it's a just in case scenario.

I was away a few weeks ago and could easily have taken half of what I used but it's all weather dependent and I won't take a risk.

Some places have a laundry but it's usually somewhere I've never been before and I've no way of knowing what facilities are accessible until I get there.

I like having options especially for footwear, and being fat my clothes take up more room, so I like having a carry on bag but if it's literally an overnight somewhere I'll try and take hand luggage only. Though airlines are taking the piss these days with handluggage rules.

1 pair of socks turn inside out next day = 2 days per pair .. packed amount 5.

undies fresh pair a day call it 7

Tee shirts and shorts can be folded then rolled .. x 7 take up little space. don't crease up

shirts fold roll x3 same principal as above

light trousers chino ish type material x 2 fold roll

enough room for small wash shave kit and my bits n bobs.

All fits in a small grip / cabin case.
