For chatting and then arranging a social or straight to sex? Like you'd like to meet someone from here in a certain y or x amount of time from beginning of communication?

Or do you just go with the flow. If there's chemistry via messages, voicenotes, video calls and/or phone calls. Then arrange something.

Personally. I go with the flow. I don't put a limit on arranging to meet up. I'm happy to keep chatting with someone for months before arranging something.

I've met someone on the day we started messaging.

I've also taken 3 years to meet someone.

So, somewhere in-between.

I talk to very few people though, so if we have ongoing conversations it's a big sign I like you and will most likely meet you. In the next 3 years or so.

I hate guys who push for a meet, if you have a timescale, jog on.

I have chatted to someone for over a year. We plan and want to meet but distance/life gets in the way. But i still chat with the end goal to be meeting. So to answer the question, sometimes no, sometimes yes.

If someone lived local and were indcating they would like to meet but never tried to take it forward after a length of time i would probably move on

I dont rush the process as I'd rather find the right people and have no regrets.

I never just go straight for a sexual meet, its always a social first.

Usually I chat with someone for a week or two and then try and arrange a social if it feels right.

If you leave that initial social too long, chats can go stale and people lose interest.

Someone sent me a stroppy message and blocked me because I didn't try and arrange a drink after talking a few times. Totally fair, but I was unable to for a while and didn't want to arrange something two months in the future.

Communication and transparency is key.

Go with the flow, we all have lives outside this site and they can get in the way. That said if there doesn’t seem to be any enthusiasm to at least trying to arrange something then I’ll probably pop them in the friendzone.

I like to meet fairly quickly because, however attractive they are, I quickly lose interest when aimlessly swapping often mundane messages with someone I've never met in person. I understand that women often want a prolonged buildup for their own safety and don't criticise that, but it doesn't work for me.

Agreed. All depends on circumstances. Like shift patterns not aligning due to jobs. Or having kids and not being able to be free, at the snap of fingers etc. If there's chemistry, then I think people will be able to be patient and go with the flow.

I think it depends. There are people who I talk to who are far away and I'd like to meet them at some point but I also just enjoy talking to them. I'm happy to go with the flow with them.

People more local to me? I can't stand it when people talk and talk and talk and it never gets to the meeting stage. If it's possible and there's no action to make it happen I feel like I'm just fodder for their wank bank and move on.

My perspective is that if they try to meet me before they know more of me beyond the pics, then their aim is the orgasm and who it's with isn't of much importance to them. Could be anyone.

So if they rush I will politely excuse myself.

The pot needs to brew and I need to know them well enough to desire them and trust them.

No set timeframe. Getting there is often the best part.
