Dude where's my car is a masterpiece of a film. At least in comparison to Gilli!

I've always been good at finding entertainment from even the worst of movies but Gilli is just plain bad. Even Ben Affleck who is usually at least tolerable is just painful to watch. I thought I might need the clockwork orange chair to hold my eyes open to even finish it.

Do yourself a favor and whatever you do, don't take the Gilli challenge!

I'm torn between Avatar - 3 hours of my life I will never get back.

Happy Feet - sanctimonious Disney crap

Brother bear - see above

Or

The Anchorman - just simply not funny!!

Although my friends would argue half my DVD collection is crap because it is mostly zombie horror.

Yeah! Was some Stallone directed movie that an ex dragged me to.

It was set beneath the Hudson River, New York, where the hero (yeah, you guessed it!), Stallone, broke free of the tunnel & saved a multitude of innocent lovey peeps!!

Daylight!

My guilty pleasure: Stallone, Segal, Swatzernegger and Van Damme films. That said a turkey of a film has got to be Derailed starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. The Big Kahuna with Kevin Spacey isn't much better: dire!

Lots of theories as to what it's about- I see it as a simple love story.

Main character feels lost and without purpose, meets love of his life, she gets killed, he then gets the chance to change history and save her life but by doing that she will never get to meet him. Go watch it again and ignore the rabbit

The green mile is the worst film I have paid to watch. A grown up audience being sucked in to see a film about a superhero mouse. I felt well and truly duped. Biggest load of dog shit I've ever had the misfortune of sitting through. If I'd known what it was about I would have brought the kids. They love Mickey Mouse so would have loved this.

Also people saying about Human centipede, it isn't a bad film, the subject matter is shocking but the film its self isn't bad, the 2nd one was bad though. I don't know also how you can say a film is crap without watching it though.

Wow, some people in here have a crap sense of humour.

Films I hated are:

Any chick flick-predictable, dull, usually the same shite.

Let The Right One In-Didn't even attempt to get the tone of the book right.

Wolverine Origins-One film that angered me as the character basically was stripped of anything and made into a wuss.

Titanic-Wow, a boat crashes. 3 hour long boring film

Warm Bodies-Zombie version of twilight. And the ending? Ffs!

Twilight saga-Vampires DO NOT sparkle!

Anything with Adam Sandler-I hate when he's talking AND THEN STARTS SHOUTING

Anything with Hugh Grant-Gives us Brits A bad name

Blade Trinity-Vampire dogs. Really?

Dusk Till Dawn 2-Never should've been made.

IT-Tim Curry is the only decent thing in it.

The Hangover-If your mate goes missing, look round the entire hotel.

Fast And Furious series-stupid films for stupid people.

Iron Man 3-The fuck happened to The Mandarin? He should've been a mean bastard not some whimpering puppet.

There's no accounting for taste I guess.

My crap films:

Any chick flick.

The Hangover

Ted

Catch 22

Jacobs Ladder

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

Night of the Lepus

Regarding the last two though and other dreadful films like Manos; Hands of Fate etc, I recommend finding the Mystery Science Theater 3000 versions. They are awesome!

"I recently saw The Last Airbender. Oh god is was beyond dreadful.

And how could you not like Happy Feet? It's PENGUINS! "

Have you ever seen 'The Room'? It's so bad it's actually good! You can find it on Youtube [the whole film] and I recommend everyone in this thread to watch it!

Grown ups with Adam Sadler is pretty much 'dreadful' dreadful. You'll want to gouge your eyes out after that.

"Powder is an excellent film !!

That's why I'm confused, I love that film, if it's the same one. I have it on DVD, so it obviously went on general release.

"

it didn't obviously go on general release. The director was arrested around the time of its release and Disney pulled it as they didnt want bad publicity. It did go out in a few cinemas but not on general release. Being released on DVD is normally a sign that a film is a massive turkey. Regardless of the controversy surrounding it, I think it is shite anyway.

I've never seen a Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Jim Carey,Chevy Chase, Sean Penn film all the way through.

I went into an induced coma when they appeared on screen.

with you on the first two, with interest. Interview with a vampire, the first ( and only ) film I actually fell asleep during. I set a new record for me last week.

Sat down to watch Phil Spector. Al Pacino , Helen Mirren and a subject I was interested in.

The opening credits rolled and before the film started it flashed on screen. This films bears no resemblance to what actually happened and is fictitious. I thought about for a second , Mirren walked on screen and I said what's the fucking point then and turned it off. I got five seconds into the film.

"Starship Troopers....... Just back away slowly if it comes on....phew what a stinker. "

WHAT?!?! That's a great film. Completely different to Heinlein's book and very tongue in cheek but come on...

If you want some truly awful films:

Attack of the Herbals

Nazi Zombie Death Tales

The ABCs of Death

Microwave Massacre

Curse of the Cannibal Confederates

I've seen a LOT of films and these really stand out as truly atrocious.

I can't remember the name but it was a Polish Film about female coal miners.

I gave it the usual 15 minutes to catch my attention before heading for the post-grad union bar and was about to leave when it cut to a mass female nude shower scene.

The camera lingered for about 10 minutes while the ladies discussed their lot while scrubbing their bodies.

Needless to say I sat back to watch the rest of the film but no more nudity

The Nun of Monza (1969).

Can't say anything about the storyline as it's based on a true story, but the (selfinflicted) mental and physical cruelty was beyond my endurance. One of the very few films I walked out of.

Blue Movie (1971)

Early Dutch attempt on a porn movie.

The most godawful acting, script, dialogue I ever witnessed. Walked out of that one as well.
