I went there almost 20 years ago. I didn't have a good experience. Maybe it's changed.

Been several times and it was exciting. I generally steer clear, as it's not my kind of place

This is it, my mum loved it because she loves shopping

I hated it because I hate Americans 😂

"No, but I would love to visit. I wanna go on those movie scene tour buses, then eat cheap hotdogs from street food stalls "

The hot dogs are awful, I was SO looking forward to having them too!

Even the ones from Grey’s Papaya, I walked like 5 miles for one and they were rubbish… still, I’m glad I tried them! 😄

I have been to NYC many, many times. And it’s like London- always something new to discover and enjoy. My visits are short, so no time to do many things- I’ve been wanting to go to the MET for ages and still not managed it!

A week seems a bit long to me- I’d get bored, haha! Have you thought of visiting nearby areas, OP? Getting out of the city for a bit?

There are always people on Fab in NYC too 😂😂😂

Well that has saved me a 5 mile walk already ha, maybe I'll stick to pizza. Let's go

Absolutely love the place, if it’s shopping @ Macy’s , doing the Empire State Building, walking around Central Park or just walking around looking, or just grabbing a slice of pizza. I was lucky enough to see Billy Joel @ Maddison Square Gardens on his 99th gig there.

Such a great city.

Lucky you. It’s a great place once you get past the immigration queue at JFK.

Do see if the cocktail bar at Grand Central station is open. The Campbell. Really worth a visit.

Wirral

I used to spend a lot of time there for work and absolutely loved it. I loved the energy and the noise and the hustle and the museums and the libraries and Broadway and the little oases like Bryant park or Seward park - it was an incredibly energising place and made me feel more alive every time I visited.

Solihull and Romford

Went in Nov. 2010 I think. About 1 or 2 weeks after Hurricane Sandy hit.

Had a seriously good time and coming home. My partner & I had to consume some brandy & vodka. So we emptied the remains of each bottle into 2x 1 litre bottles.

I never heard anything on the plane. The pair of us, just fell asleep.

Lots to see & do. Empire State, Broadway, Twin Towers footprints.
