Just wondering what experiences others her in terms of arranging a meet and then people not turning up. I asked someone for a coffee this morning as we’re quite local. They told me a coffee shop about 30 mins away and then just didn’t turn up. Just don’t understand it and trying to figure out it it is just me or this happens regularly now across the sit

We only meet at clubs. Nine times out of ten when a couple say they're going to meet us in a club they don't, however we always have a good night anyway. What you're describing is very common.

Yes deffo. I just don’t get the logic. I don’t get why you would actually agree a meet suggest a location and then just not turn up or message x

It happens. That's life. Some people like the thrill of the chase. I hope you're ok OP. Be kind to yourself. Hopefully you have a better experience next time. 👍🏾☺️

I've been lucky enough to never have experienced a no show, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time

"I don’t get why you would actually agree a meet suggest a location and then just not turn up or message"

Some people are on here purely for the fantasy, but may not actually look like they claim, and take no head of the fact the rest of us are humans with expectations and feelings 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd love to even just meet up for more sociable coffees, but you have to be confident who you're chatting with before taking that step.

It's never happened to me but I put a few safeguards in place such as they have to contact me on the day to confirm.

Brighton - even Hove!

It’s good to meet for a coffee so if they don’t show you can still chill and have a coffee. Shitty behaviour though.

Thanks everyone. I was arranged very quickly and last minute so maybe that should have been for first responders flag but they had lots of verifications. I wouldn’t have minded the no show so much had they now send me 20 mins in the front direction as well!

Sadly I do feel my 25 year association with Fab might edging to a close.

After having 4 arranged meets in a row with single guys go wrong from them not showing up we now won't chat with anyone not photo and meet verified. Plus we message some of the people on his verification list to check how the meet went, kind of like a reference from a job interview... 🤣

Weve always been so lucky.....people do turn up.

Whether they're what you expect, thats a totally different story.

People say clubs are better but thats fine if you're ok with the rushed feel. Its really not our thing.

I do turn up for mine. However, I’m timeblind so tend to be late. It’s such an awful trait and I hate it. Are you sure they just weren’t late OP?

It happens so often that I have lost the keenness to meet tbh.

Even though I don't do last-minute meetings, only after chatting and building a connection, I have been stood up many times. I deleted my previous profile a while ago and started this one. The same guys who ghosted me when I was waiting for a social, dared to ask for a meeting. again making the most ridiculous excuses.

“ I was in the hospital, I'm married and I was scared, I'm 20 years older than my profile pic” All blocked again.

Always have a Plan B then assume you are their Plan B and treat them like Plan B in your Plan A which was your Plan B but is now your Plan A which could be Plan B again if you find your Plan B is treating you like their Plan A and now you’re both Plan A.

Who would you describe as your favourite British Rap/Grimsby artist that dabbled in a spot of acting?

It seems to happen a fair bit here nowadays op. Sorry you had that, please report their profile and block them.

There's not many reasons someone can't let you know if they've changed their mind or something has come up these days.

That’s the reason why I only meet a clubs now, if they turn up great. If they don’t I still have a good night.

I’ve had single dudes accuse me of being paid by clubs to get people to pay to go lol

Nowhere

From the experience of a cross dresser / tv that's been let down so many times , so frustrating and upsetting. Some dressers get a chance once or twice a year to get dressed with the view of meeting.

In my case hotel , make up , travel and new clothes have been booked and paid for before a meet . Only for that person not to turn up is as usual disappear that day .

The reason I don't have a plan b is that I don't want to let someone down that I won't meet as it's not fair .

The emotional empty feeling for a dresser that's went through the emotional, physical and psychological barriers to even be honest with themselves in the first place to go ahead with it , never mind meet someone is horrible.

The people that get turned down because one liar has made it feel they are coming to see you is unreal and happened to me recently.

So if you've no intention of tuning up . Think about what you're actually doing to someone's mind , body and soul .

And for those let down , I feel for you x
