I will admit I'm absolutely rubbish at taking selfies and a few people have said I look better in person. Which is fair enough as I am absolutely rubbish at taking them.

I don't know how some people do it and take marvellous selfies.

Make sure the light is hitting your face, ideally from the side so your not squinting if it's in sunlight. Never take a pic with the light source behind you.

Look directly at the camera, and imagine your looking at someone you adore - shouldn't be difficult if you have yourself on the screen. 😂

Point and click. Don't overthink it.

We're all our worst critics, and you can guarantee you'll hate any pic that other people adore, so learn to embrace it!

I never smile in them, to busy concentrating. I solved it with a little camera that has a small screen that seperates. It's an axcrion camera, but means I can actually take a pic and not get it so badly wrong

Set the timer and pose, then repest until I am happy with the picture. Then delete all the others.
