The only kind of message that makes me want to reply is if I may be attracted to the person sending it. It could be the most perfectly crafted message ever but I always look at the senders profile before I open a message, so if they have no public photos, poor bio or if I’m put off by anything I’ve seen on their profile, then it’ll be deleted unread. If I do read the message, it should be polite, friendly, relaxed, genuine, no smut, not too long, no copy and paste or chat gpt, no ‘free tonight?’ or ‘can I ask you a question?’ and definitely no dick pics.
