1.Do I need a sky card to get any type of signal ?

2. why is there no signal?

3.Do I need a land line??

Yes- it decodes the encryption

Do you have a Sky dish and is it connected?

3.Do I need a land line??

A sky box can be used the same as a digi box you only need a landline if your using sky to order movies etc have you a dish as if not that's why you may not have a signal unless its going through the aerial

In the menu system does the box report a satellite signal and is it locked on? If not a wiring or sattellite dish issue

just noticed its a wire in 13 /18 v thinks a bit loose..

or us there a left to right or right to left??
