"Cats bury there poo so it's more likely it's a fox that's shitting on your lawn." Not all cats bury.Foxes shit in prominent places such as the tops of molehills, base of tree trunks etc on or close to their territorial boundary. The Dogs also spray at the same time and that is a stench you can't fail to notice.Even the Females leave a smell, more so at this time of year.

"Air rifle worked well for me! I hung a steel dustbin lid by its rim from the clothes line and every time I saw a cat l shot the bin lid. Watching the cats jump and hurtle back over the fence was hugely entertaining, well it was for me, l don’t think the cats were impressed, but it did encourage them to use someone else’s garden for their activities" It would be highly entertaining for me to do that, to old men that keep recommending air rifles and animal cruelty.

Au contraire, the bin lid was a good bit of lateral thinking outside the bin so to speak, no pain, no suffering and lots of laughs. May l recommend a book for you to help you with your cause, ‘101 things to do with a dead cat’ it’s a great read!

"You can order lion poo online, cats won't go near an area where they can smell a threat and it doesn't get bigger than a lion. Just remember people suggesting chilli flakes etc.... cats like dogs have very sensitive noses and strong things like chilli and pepper could harm them. Anyone suggesting hurting them in any way, this is a disgusting thing to say and think. Both our cats rarely venture far from our garden and do most of their poo in the garden or litter tray. Some cats do like to wander around and feral cats will be very stealthy. Kitchen foil on string around flower beds can act as a deterrent as will old cds or mirrors ( unless its a particularly vein cat 🐈 I find cat owners don't really have any consideration for other home owners. I have heard, but don't know for sure , that cats are not native to this country and were brought over decades ago . The domestic cat is responsible for our dwindling garden birds and other small creatures ( in part ) In America , I believe, you are not allowed to let your cat roam through the neighbourhood and you are responsible for any damage they cause , including accidents. I often see the cats in my garden and think about what I could do to keep them out. Though I did used to laugh a lot at a black and white kitten ( white n black really ) that used to lie under my washing line and claw the F out of my washing.

"they usually do it in the early hours lol " Buy one of those motion activated Halloween witches that cackles and lights up,hopefully frightening the bejesus of of the kitties but no injuries. Maybe purchase some toy snake's leave them around, if you've ever seen the cats and cucumbers videos its all to do with their natural instincts to be scared of snake's which are a natural predator in the wild. Although it'd have to be a big snake to eat a full grown cat.

"Has anyone suggested a Nerf gun yet?" . Good call Great target practice too I'd guess. Up your game as well as deter the cats toilet habits.
