Please someone educate me, what does &AMP mean??? Much appreciated

It comes up automatically for some reason when you put the "at" symbol in. It doesn't mean anything as far as im aware. X

Ampersand. It is the name for the symbol.

And, that's all. It's a funny glitch on the site.

The ampersand is this &. For some reason it appears with amp written after it sometimes.

When you post something to a website, the data sent is 'cleaned' by the website form processing. This removes malicious code, database hacking code, and html code is removed from the data or converted into something that represents the intended input. An ampersand is converted into &amp on some systems, likewise you may have seen &copy instead of the copyright C, or &euro i stead of the Euro symbol,

Hope that clears up any confusion

it's just microsofts crappy legacy coding when windows 3 was created space was at a premium, font sets were compressed and some symbols were removed so some symbols & % @ are shown wrong newer font sets are now complete and should work ok hence this effect is only on some sites. it would require a complete re-write of the site from the ground up to remove
